Paper Towns...WHICH I HAVE NOT YET ACQUIRED D:
:D :D :D
D: D: D:
I am torn between joy and sorrow because:
1. Paper Towns is out! YEAAH!
2. I don't have Paper Towns yet! :(
This is due to the fact that my brains got jumbled and yesterday, for some reason, I thought it was the 15th and I was like, "YES! Paper Towns tomorrow!". Then partway through yesterday I realized, "NOO! PAPER TOWNS CAME OUT TODAY!"
And then the reason that I still don't have it is that I ventured out into the rain to visit the book store (a really small one) and there was no Paper Towns (in your pants...xD). There was a copy of An Abundance of Katherines and three of Looking for Alaska but NO PAPER TOWNS.
Anyways, my goal is to get to Indigo by tomorrow and get it then. My fingers have been crossed!
PS. If you're thinking, "Gee, I wonder why her writing is in yellow and blue today. Perhaps it in honour of Happy Margo and Sad Margo..." you'd be right.

Oh, those silly fanfiction writers
This'll be a quick post and won't mean anything if you don't know fanfiction but here it it.
Just a minute or so ago I was looking through a list of fanfics for something good and I came across one with something odd about it. You know how on fanfics you can have two genres? For example: "Romance/Humor". Well this one had two genres. "Romance/Romance". xD All I can suppose from this is that either the authour made a mistake or it's an especially romantic story.

It was just like magic!
I have an amazing, magical story to tell you, so listen up!
My mum and I were getting in the car today so she could drop me off at the library and she asked me, "Do you want to show me that hat in the mall while we're there?" (There was a hat I had wanted to show her)
So I said, "I don't know. It doesn't really matter to me" Saying this made me think of the end of Bohemian Rhapsody where he sings "nothing really matters to me". Thinking of this made me think, wouldn't it be funny if when mum turned on the car, that was playing on the radio?
And then my mum turned on the car. And then that song was playing right at the specific part. And I thought it was so great! I was laughing really hard and my mum couldn't understand why. I explained it to her, but she didn't get why it was so funny because she, obviously, couldn't hear my thoughts.
Anyways, I thought that was quite fantastic and I wanted to share it with you. :D

NERDFIGHERS
I have recently discovered the amazingness that is Hank and John Green and Brotherhood 2.0 and nerdfighters. And they are just that. AMAZING. If you don't already know what I'm talking about the go here and take a peek.
Also, I have a funny story relating to me being a nerdfighter. TWO in fact!
FIRST:
I was in science class and a couple of my friends and I were putting post-it notes on ourselves and each other. They said things like "Nerdfighter!" or "Brotherhood 2.0 FTW" or "I ♥ Books". There was one that said "Nerdfighter" on my back.
So this girl in my class walked behind me and saw the post-it. Then she said, "You're not a nerd", in this sympathetic voice like I didn't know that the note was there.
So then I said, "Yes I am" and she just looked at me weird and walked away.
It was extremely funny.
And SECOND:
Whenever I have science, it's in the last block of the day, so on the same day as the first story I was at my locker with my friend.
We were just chatting about Nerdfighters and Harry Potter and such, as per usual, when some guy (and I still have no idea who he was) swiped the "I ♥ Books" post-it right off my back!
Unless he ♥'s books too, which he (and everyone) should, I can't think of a reason he would do that.
I just thought that it was sort of odd.

Calgary
HEY-O says the magazine in the car. It also says HELL-O...and it says both in MAGNUM SHARPIE!
Yeah, anyways, I just got back from Calgary which was a blast :D All sorts of fun things occured such as the Arbour Lake-ing, Calaway Park-ing, adventuring in Chapters, the devouring of numerous Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccinos, and the procurement of one beautiful, shiny covered, 2-disked, special edition of ACROSS THE UNIVERSE! It's amazing and beautiful and I love it.
OH, and guess what? I played Super Mario World for Super Nintendo [FANTASTIC game] for longer than I slept last night. I played for 7 hours and slept for 6. It was kind of wierd though cos I woke up twice in the morning and my little brother and my cousin were just standing in the doorway looking at me. I kind of just turned over and went back to sleep. But, yeah...it was a good sleepeover. A good, end of summer sleepover :[
PS. jk fixes everything xD

MORSMORDRE
HOLA. I got back from Florida awhile ago, but haven't been on here since then.
It was really great trip. I learned how to surf (sort of), watched Across the Universe and Moulin Rouge! which were both amazing, and I hung out with my cousins. So, yeah...all in all, it was fabulous.
On another note, I'm gonna be in a band. A Wizard Wrock band. :D It's called Morsmordre, which is a cool name, though it does limit the kinds of things we can have songs about since it means we're Death Eaters. But I figure we can just be, like, post-war Death Eaters. Our motto is "Eat love, not death." :)
So, that's about it for now.

Wet Carpets and Beatles
On the weekend, our water heater broke, which caused the entire carpet of the spare bedroom and part of another one, as well as the room where the heater was kept to become wet. People have been coming in every day since tuesday doing things like ripping out carpet and putting in fans. Now I know this isn't a good thing, but I am a tiny bit glad because all of this has led to the discovery that we have beatles records. I HAVE FOUND THE SILVER LINING TO THIS CLOUD. :D
NEW NEWS: The people who came to rip out the kitchen floor did something to a water...thing...hose or something. So anyways, when my mum was doing washing, water started pouring out onto the floor and it went under the fridge and into a closet and stuff. That's right, more leakage! The problem is, the Beatles records i mentioned earlier were IN THAT WET CLOSET! But, I guess the silver lining here is that, as far as I know, only the bottom of the box holding them got wet. I cross my fingers.

HELLO FRIENDS
Salutations, I'm Megan as says the little sidebar thang...Anyways, I suppose this is my blogg. It's summertime and there are things I know I should be doing yet I don't do them. Thus my boredom.
Hey, guess what! I'm off to Florida in umm.....5 DAYS! I know, exciting right? I get to start packing soon :) I know there are lots of people who don't like to pack, but I think it's really fun 'cos you know that you're going somewhere soon. I'll have to take lots of books with me. I LOVE reading. I'll have to be careful though because sometimes I get into my book too much on a trip and end up being kind of antisocial and waste all the time I have visiting my family :( SADNESS. But don't worry, that won't happen again...
Fare thee well, please!
